Proposal A
Each proposal is a fixed sequence of plates. Every plate declares its ratio in the caption rail beneath it, and each row takes its height from that declaration — a row of four squares and a row of two 2:1 plates land on identical margins. Switching proposals replaces the whole sheet under the same two baselines: the label and the plate tally move, the chrome does not.
